Album project. PAO - Te Manu. 

Winner of 'Best Pop Album' in the Waiata Maori Awards 2014. A ten track album 100% te reo Maori blending electronic styles of music. Released July 2014.

Taki Rua Productions Te Reo Maori Season

Actor, Musician, Songwriter. Acting in a play written by myself and three other actors under the guidance of our director Ngapaki Emery. It involved 5 weeks rehearsal / writing and ten weeks touring Aotearoa performing over 90 shows. The 40 minute devised work was written and performed totally in Te Reo Maori, the Maori Language. I was required to speak maori in French, Swedish and Arabic accents and wrote two songs for the play.

 

 

Huia Publishers‘Hokio’

Voice Character Actor, Musician, Singer. This project was to create a read-a-long cd for the book ‘Hokio’ written by Katerina Te Heikoko Mataira. I played 5 characters on the c.d.

 

 

Toi Maori Aotearoa

‘On The Bus’ tour, Performer, Storyteller. “On The Bus” was a week long storytelling tour of schools in the far north.

NZ Embassy Manila.Guitarist, vocalist, Taonga Puoro, performer. I was invited by Toni Huata to perform with her in Manila, Philipines for the 2010 New Zealand Embassy Business Expo.

Teacher, research and development, My time with Whanau Family Support Services Trust started with the Digital Storytelling project and moved through teaching music, computing, art, literacy support to ‘Brain Evolution”, a programme I developed about human brain function that was delivered across 6 training providers.
